I believe that growth happens in a safe and collaborative space that creates room for curiosity, discussion and vulnerability. I therefore strive to collaboratively create an environment containing safety, compassion and acceptance.
I use a variety of approaches ranging from person-centered, humanistic and polyvagal techniques to DBT, CBT (ERP) and ACT approaches, tailoring every session to each client's unique needs.
Having worked in various different settings and environments (Community Mental Health, Higher Educational Research Institution, Primary Care Office and various Private Practice Settings), I have had the pleasure of working with many different diagnoses, people from various socio economic, cultural, educational and ethnic backgrounds. I really enjoy working with teenagers, young adults and individuals in their middle adulthood living with Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Trauma. I have always had a special interest working with and serving individuals identifying as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Compassionate, empathetic, collaborative and client-centered.
