Kyle Myers, MA

What is your philosophy in psychotherapy?

I believe that we’re all working to do our best and sometimes that is really hard to navigate on our own. I’m here to help you build your awareness, understanding, and meaning within your experience. Our relationship is really important to me and I work to build a safe and trusting environment where you can explore whatever might be holding you back.

What approaches do you use to help your clients?

I primarily use a relationship oriented approach where we get to be our whole selves. This experience is about you and I want to keep that as the focus in our time together. I like to pull from approaches that help you share your story and build your awareness within your own experience (e.g., what are you feeling, thinking, etc.) as you move through life.

What are your areas of expertise and clients you work well with?

I work with young adults and adults experiencing/struggling with anxiety and depression, trauma, identity exploration, life transitions, and family/relationship struggles. I also specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

What’s your therapeutic style with your clients?

I am very calm and present in an effort to help create a safe environment where you feel heard, valued, and supported. I love incorporating humor, flexibility, and honest feedback to help build a therapeutic relationship between us to help accomplish what you’re here to do.

What languages do you speak?

English
