I specialize in helping people increase their ability to communicate more effectively and experience more closeness in their relationships.
I also help clients set boundaries, improve their ability to regulate their emotions, reduce anxiety and increase mindfulness.
I believe that, with skilled guidance, clients can identify what is important to them and increase their ability to engage in behaviors that help them have healthier relationships, improved communication, increased self-esteem and move toward a life that they find valuable and meaningful.
My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered.
I also pull from a variety of approaches, including but not limited to: Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mentalization Based Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I help those with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and eating disorders, and enjoy working with people in the LGBTQIA community.
Client-centered and relational.
