Kristina Holt-Reber, PsyD

Approach
I strongly believe that a solid and transparent therapeutic relationship is the most important foundation of any successful therapeutic work. I therefore strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable, able to proceed at your own pace and most importantly where you feel safe. I use a variety of different therapeutic approaches ranging from person-centered, humanistic and polyvagal techniques to DBT, CBT (ERP), EMDR and ACT.
Specialties and populations
I have a special interest and extended training and experience in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals identifying as part of the immigrant community and people working in higher education.
Therapeutic Style
Compassionate, warm, curious, empathetic, collaborative, and client-centered with room for laughter and lightness.
Fun Fact!
Outside of my work I enjoy exploring nature, hiking, traveling, baking and cooking, spending time with my family (2 and 4 legged) and traveling home to Switzerland to visit my family as often as possible.
