About
Taylor Costa is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at Vantage Point Center for Psychotherapy. Taylor provides trauma-informed therapy for adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults in Sacramento and throughout California via telehealth. She believes meaningful change happens through authentic connection and is committed to helping clients recognize their strengths, build on their existing skills, and work toward practical, achievable goals.
Clinical Approach and Interests/Specialties
Taylor’s priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She takes a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and moving at a pace that feels right for them. She integrates Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients explore their experiences, develop insight, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Taylor particularly enjoys working with adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults who may be feeling stuck, navigating identity-related challenges, or seeking to better understand themselves and realize their potential. She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create lives that align with their values.
Fun Fact
Outside of the therapy room, Taylor enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Dolly and Beans, and her cat, Salem. In her free time, she can often be found playing tennis, paddleboarding, trying new arts and crafts, getting lost in a good book, or unwinding with reality TV.
